PRINCIPALS' ROUNDTABLE SERVICE
This service is designed to provide networking and sharing opportunities for principals. The target audience of the roundtable discussion is principals and assistant principals from small districts (e.g., an elementary-only district or those districts with less than 6,250 student populations). Discussions will additionally enhance communication between principals and the ESC contact to promote improvement of schools and ESC services. Participating principals will be invited to quarterly networking meetings with peers in clusters of high school, middle school, or elementary school principals.
ROUNDTABLE SERVICE COMPONENTS
Principals and assistant principals participating in the service will receive:
- Quarterly three-hour meetings
- Meals provided at all meetings
- Materials on "best practices"
- ESC coordination and design of meetings around current topics of interest
- Resource experts, when available and needed
- Highly structured book study to promote professional improvement through open dialogue and critical analysis
The fee for this service is communicated annually to the district superintendent during the commitment process for the Package of Administrative Services.
