ACCREDITATION AND ACCOUNTABILITY SERVICE

 

Technical Assistance for the Superintendent, Principals, Teachers, Site-Based Committees and Other Appropriate Staff in Planning and Preparation for, and in Response to, Various TEA Accreditation Interventions and Other Compliance Issues.

SERVICES TO ALL REGION 10 DISTRICTS

  • Regular Communications and/or Periodic Workshops or Forums with Regard to Accountability and Accreditation Issues
  • Regional Workshop(s) on the State Accountability System, As Needed
  • Regional Workshop(s) on Attendance/Dropout Data Analysis and Review of PEIMS and Other Data Collection Issues, As Needed

SERVICES TO ALL ACADEMICALLY UNACCEPTABLE DISTRICTS OR LOW PERFORMING CAMPUSES and Pre-AU Campuses

  • Public Hearing Technical Assistance
  • On-Site District/Campus Intervention Preparatory Workshop(s)
  • On-Site Presence in Agency Interventions, As Needed

COORDINATION WITH PERFORMANCE BASED MONITORING (PBM) SERVICE

(Special Program Areas, other than Special Education)

 

RELATED SERVICE TO ASSIST WITH ACCREDITATION ISSUES OR CONCERNS

  • Assistance structured Around the TEA 2009 Accountability Manual and the 2009-2010 Accountability Procedures Manual.
  • ESC will Initiate Contact with All Districts and/or Campuses Rated Academically Unacceptable to Determine the Extent of and Schedule for Participation in Additional Services
  • Provide training to External and Internal Consultants for Campus Intervention Teams (CITs) and support Pre-AU Technical Assistant Teams (TATs)
  • Technical Assistance in the School Improvement Planning Review and Campus/ District Self-Evaluation Prior to Agency Interventions to be Determine
