Criminal History Records Checks (CHRC) Services

Region 10 has contracted with Dallas Computer Systems (DCS) to provide school district personnel a Criminal History Records Checks service. Through DCS the service provides:

1.) Instant DPS Checks – an instant web-based search of the Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) criminal history conviction files

2.) Tag Checks – a check or verification of ownership of vehicles in and around school grounds

3.) Check & Flag – an annual and periodic check of DPS records of all full-time employees and volunteers with districts being notified of hits after the initial runs at no additional charge
