Principals' Roundtable Services

Program Overview

This service is intended to provide networking opportunities for principals, promote school improvement efforts and enhance communication between principals and the ESC. Small group discussions further enhance communication of current topics of concern and interest as determined by needs assessments. These three-hour roundtable sessions are held quarterly with elementary, middle and high school principals assigned to separate groups by geographical clusters.

Principals and assistant principals participating in the service will receive:

Quarterly three-hour meetings
Meals provided at all meetings
Resources on "best practices"
ESC coordination and design of meetings around current topics of interest
Resource experts, when available and needed
Online resource binder
Book Study to promote professional improvement through open dialogue and critical analysis

Participants

Participants are elementary, middle school and high school principals and assistant principals from small and medium size districts.

Meetings

Meetings of the Roundtables are held within the counties of Region 10. These 3-hour roundtable sessions are held quarterly at 11:00 a.m. The meeting dates are sent electronically to all participating administrators.

Fees

The program fee includes all meetings, instructional materials, refreshments and a certificate of participation. Payment is communicated annually to district superintendents as part of the commitment process for the Package of Administrative Services.
