Home Language Survey

The Home Language Survey has been translated into 25 different languages; translation has been provided by Region 4 Education Service Center under Title III:

Amharic	Farsi	Hmong	Punjabi	Thai
Arabic	French	Japanese	Russian	Tigrigna
Bosnian	Gujurati	Korean	Spanish	Ukrainian
Cambodian	Haitian Creole	Laotian	Somali	Urdu

The state of Texas requires that a home language survey be completed for each student that enrolls for the first time in Texas public schools. This survey shall be kept in each student's permanent record folder.
