Curriculum and Instructional Management

 

In conjunction with regional service centers and educators throughout the State of Texas, the Curriculum and Instructional Management (CIM) workgroup at Region 10 Education Service Center (ESC) develops products and services to help school districts improve academic achievement. Specifically, the software programs TEKStar and AEIS IT have been developed to help school districts with their curriculum and assessment needs. TEKStar helps teachers build effective lesson plans based upon the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) curriculum, and AEIS IT provides analysis of TAAS, EOC or benchmark exams for instructional planning and district-based curriculum decisions.
