Services

R10VN offers membership to public schools, private schools and nonprofit entities such as museums, hospitals and governmental agencies. Nonprofit entity members are requested to provide regular program content that supports K-12 school districts through activities such as virtual field trips for students and professional development for staff.

Membership services include unlimited video calls, free multipoint bridging services, live help desk support, private videoconference meeting rooms, technical field services, codec loan during repair, training and consulting. Scheduling services includes access to TETN, Internet2 and ISDN services.

R10VN uses secure Internet connections to support videoconference traffic. If a member chooses to secure a dedicated circuit for videoconferencing, it will require coordination with Bob Barnes prior to submitting the circuit order.

The annual membership fee for an organization, i.e. non-profit, public or private school, is $3500. The annual network registration fee for each standard videoconference system is $1000. These fees are extremely economical based on the wide variety of services provided. Most members only have one videoconference system so the annual fee is $4,500. Other charges may be incurred if a ISDN dial-up is required to reach a non-H.323 videoconference site. See more information below on Cost of Services.

(ISDN gateway usage is billed as scheduled, unless sessions are cancelled by the customer)
  • No charge for troubleshooting sessions scheduled by R10VN
  • Non-member Ad Hoc videoconference hourly fee: $195.00
(Minimum connection charge is one hour with additional time billable in 30 minute increments, plus a one-time $50.00 endpoint certification charge for first-time customers.)

Additional fee-base services can be provided under an additional managed services agreement. These can include scheduling and management of client owned videoconference bridges, gateways, gatekeepers and recording devices. Larger entities have requested these services and we can provide them for less cost than they can internally. Contact Bob Barnes for a quote on Managed Services.
