Staff / Professional Development
Region 10 School Health Consultants provide professional development, support and technical assistance to schools in the area of comprehensive school health including:
- School Health Advisory Councils
- School Wellness Programs
- Coordinated School Health Education and Services
- School Physical Education
- Coordination/Collaboration of Community Efforts Promoting Healthy Environments
- Continuing education for school nurses
- Regional trainings for the screening of vision, hearing, spinal, and acanthosis nigricans
