Identification and Recruitment (ID&R) Training for Administrators
This session will provide information to districts in meeting compliance with state and federal Migrant Education Program laws, regulations, and guidelines. Administrators will receive information about current required documentation and dates for submitting information. This session is also available through videoconference.
Identification and Recruitment (ID&R) Annual Training for Recruiters
Recruiters for districts throughout Region 10 will receive required annual ID&R training. Participants will receive a binder with current information for 2011-2012. This session is only for MEP Recruiters.
New Generation System Annual Training for NGS Specialists
NGS Specialists will receive required annual NGS training. Participants will receive the new 2011-2012 NGS manual. This session is only for NGS Specialists in the Region 10 area.
Update for Recruiters
These ID&R workshops, scheduled throughout the 2011-2012 school year, will seek to continue to highlight factors regarding the identification and recruitment of migrant children, etc. Topics will not only revolve around eligibility issues but will address how these issues are reflected on the Certificate of Eligibility and the Supplemental Documentation forms. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Migrant Student Records Transfer System (MSIX) for Specialists, Counselors, and Administrators
Participants will learn that the MSIX is a web-based, consolidated data base of minimum data base elements that is populated from the New Generation System.
