The Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Order Receipt System on the Web (FFAVORS Web) supports the fresh fruit and vegetables mission for USDA customers for DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) serviced or long term produce contracts. The system tracks customer orders from the point of vendor catalog pricing, through customer ordering; vendor delivery, customer receipt, and vendor invoicing to the point it is passed to another system for vendor payment and customer billing.
The budget management portion of the system allows USDA customers the ability to manage their expenditure by school fiscal year by providing screens to input caps on federal entitlements dollars and reimbursabile snack funding in various levels (school/reservation, district/county, state). As orders are placed, and at the time of receipt, all expenditures (federal, state, snack) are totaled and feedback is provided to the user.

Response to question asked at Commodity Update Training on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 about the availability of a toll free number to contact DSCP:
DSCP toll free number is 1-800-441-1837. When the system answers, enter the seven digit telephone number of the person you are contacting and the call will transfer to that person, i.e....Pama Hamlett is 1-800-441-1837 and then enter 737-3676 once the system answer.
