The following services are provided to campuses or districts as requested
and tailored to meet specified needs.
This year Region 10 Social Studies is piloting a new service to provide quality teacher training without the expense of substitute teachers. Limited funding brings about limitless ideas, and this new program – After School Specials – will feature two-hour after school workshops combined with "before" and "after" components. Based on sound research principles, After School Specials will provide participants with a pre-learning experience "before" the face-to-face workshop, critical content "during" the workshop, and an extension activity "after" the session is concluded for a more meaningful professional development experience.
