Teacher Preparation and Certification
TPC Training Requirements
Full attendance is required for all TPC training.
Complete 30 clock hours of student contact experience in specified educational settings. Credit may be allowed for prior teaching experience.
Complete 80 clock hours of training provided by Region 10 prior to initiation of internship.
Complete a total of 300 clock hours of Region 10 training as determined by certification area.
Participate in study sessions for state exams.
Complete a one-year paid internship with mentoring and administrative supervision.
