TPC Secondary Certifications
Science

Certifications for all areas of science for grades 4-8 and 8-12. To qualify for the TPC program in these certification areas, you must have 24 semester hours of college coursework, 12 of which are upper-level, in courses related to the science area of interest with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Science Composite 4-8 or 8-12 requires 6 hours in each of the core areas: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science or Environmental Science, and Physics with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
