Mentors

The role of the Mentor is to support and assist the TPC Intern throughout the school year. Mentors are assigned by school administrators. Certified teachers interested in becoming a mentor should notify their campus administrator. Mentors assigned to Region10 TPC interns are required to complete a Region10 TPC 6-hour online professional development course.  Once the Mentor Information Form is received in the Region 10 TPC office, mentors are notified by email that they have been enrolled in the Moodle online modules.

Mentors assigned to work with Region10 TPC interns in subsequent years are required to complete an additional Region10 TPC 3-hour online professional development course and an additional 3 hours of face to face training. After all 12 hours are completed, mentors are designated Region 10 Master Mentors.

Second year mentors will need to use their Region 10 website account to register for the face-to-face session from the options listed below.
