ALT Part II --- Two Trainings:
Anti-Bullying Assembly - This age appropriate elementary school assembly (grades 3-6) is sure to empower each victim and teach each bystander how to react to bullying situations. We will address actual cases of bullying with 'actors' and role-play to seek a way to create a school environment in which the task of managing bullying is effective school-wide.
Using PDAS to Support Rigorous Classroom Instruction - Administrators have learned in previous trainings that there is a link between professional development and student achievement. The goal of the Professional Development and Appraisal System is to enhance student learning through the professional development of teachers. Furthermore, the goal of professional development is to encourage teachers in the identification of activities that will make a difference in classrooms and in schools by aligning their professional development with student need. These basic premises form the foundation for Using PDAS to Support Rigorous Classroom Instruction that will be customized for your district or campus.
