In cooperation with two universities in the area (University of North Texas and Texas A & M-Commerce) educators in the Region 10 network are availing themselves of Educational Administration courses taught in cohorts via videoconferencing. Educators enroll at the respective university and take six hours per semester during the school year and nine to twelve hours during the summer to earn an M.Ed in EDAD as well as principal's certification. Typically, two to three distance learning sites comprise the group. The participants attend the videoconferencing site that is located nearest to them. Graduate work is taught in this manner so that students can include graduate courses in their busy schedules during the school year without the drive to the campus of record.
