Intern Congratulatory Achievements

A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.

I attended the Region 10 TPC Program and was blessed to have great instructors from whom I learned effective teacher practices. The instruction and peer interaction that I experienced truly prepared me for the teaching profession.

This year I was voted by my peers as the Teacher of the Year, and I have to say thank you to Region 10 for preparing me for what I get to do every day.

I have a Bachelor's, Master's in Business Administration, and several years of experience in the business industry.  I received my teacher certification in Business Education from Region 10.  Initially, I knew little about teacher preparation programs; however, found out very quickly the significant difference.  In contacting and visiting many programs, Region 10 was one of a few whose consultants were former educators.  I enjoyed the hybrid learning platform where we accessed online coursework at our convenience and attended classes at Region 10 taught by experienced facilitators.  The classes were engaging and interactive.  Each course provided valuable information that I continue to use in my classroom today.  As I matriculated through the program, my consultant was available and responsive via email or phone anytime.  Based on Region 10's reputation of successfully preparing teachers, I landed my dream teacher job. Throughout my first year, my Region 10 consultant remained in contact, visiting my classroom, celebrating my successes and providing constructive feedback.  Within 1 year of receiving my standard certificate, I was awarded Distinguished Teacher. Thanks Region 10!

I am pleased to tell you I was named Teacher of the Month for September. Thank you for the professional training I receive through Region 10's certification program. Your exceptional presenters have been an integral part of my achievement, and I expect to make great strides as I continue my training.
