Teacher Preparation - and Certification
TPC Intern Information
You have reached intern status in the TPC program once you have 1) completed candidate requirements,
2) secured a teaching position at a district, charter, or a private school accredited by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), 3) signed an Intent to Initiate Internship Agreement, 4) completed the online INTERN Orientation, and, 5) applied for a probationary certificate.
Intern Orientation
Participants are required to complete an online Intern Orientation once they have secured a teaching position. Interns receive the appropriate information regarding online access when the TPC office receives a copy of the district contract and a signed Intent to Initiate Internship.
