Certification Costs

 

Application Fee $50 (non-refundable, due with application)

 

Acceptance Fee $500 (non-refundable after attending Candidate Orientation)

Tuition Fee* $500 (non-refundable)

Internship Fee ** $2950 (payroll deducted by district)

Clinical Teaching Experience Fee $2950 (Invoiced Monthly)

Internships in Dallas ISD are an additional $100

TEA Fee for Probationary Certificate $52

TEA Fingerprint Processing Fee $42.25

Fingerprint Fee to L1 Identity Solutions $10-20

Certification Exams $120 per exam

TEA Fee for Standard Certification $77 (at completion of program)

 

  Certification Fees Effective September 1, 2012:

 

  • Application Fee - $75 for one certification area    

                                       $25 for an additional certification area

  • Acceptance Fee - $400
  • Pedagogy Tuition Fee - $400
  • Content Tuition Fee - $400
  • Internship/CTE Practicum - $3,100

       *Discount $200 for full payment prior to beginning practicum

       *Note: Dallas ISD practicum fee includes an additional $100

  • All state fees/testing remain the same at this time.

 

 

 

  * Individuals seeking dual certification will have additional coursework costs (cost determined based on courses)

 

** Individuals approved for Internships in districts outside of Region 10 will pay an additional $150-$500 travel fee to be determined according to school/district location.
