TExES Secured Practice Tests

• Register, pay the $55.00 fee, and select your test choice.

• After completion of the practice test, a self-scoring answer key and study focus plan for test domains and competencies are provided. For the ELAR 8-12 test, a sample constructed-response assignment and the grading criteria are provided for your practice. The constructed-response assignment is not graded and may not be taken from the practice test site.

• Cell phones and photographic devises are not allowed in the testing room.  We cannot hold phones, etc.; so please do not bring to the testing site.

• Dress to adapt to room temperature and bring two pencils.

• Bring the appropriate calculator needed for any of the Math, Science, Generalist and Special Education test.

• For Saturday Practice Tests- The doors will open at 8:45 AM for registrants to check in and be seated. The Practice Test will end at 2:00 PM. For Evening Practice Tests- The doors will open at 400 PM for registrants to check in and be seated. The Practice Test will end at 8:00 PM.

• IMPORTANT:
  Region 10 TPC Program candidates, clinical teachers, and interns may register and attend practice test(s) and review(s) in their content area(s) free of charge.
  
  Candidates, clinical teachers, and interns may register and attend the public EC-12 PPR review free of charge. If the public EC-12 PPR is taken, a practice test must be scheduled within ten days with a consultant.
  
  If you cannot attend after you have registered, you must cancel your registration. If you are a "No Show", and did not cancel your registration; you will be charged for the full amount. This is necessary as a place was reserved for you.
