Region 10 Student Video Contest - Digital Citizenship

Digital citizenship can be defined as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to information and technology use, including:

  • the ability to communicate and collaborate
    productively in our global society;
  • techniques to locate, evaluate, and effectively use
    information; and
  • the safe, legal, and ethical use of information and
    digital content.

For more information, check out The Nine Themes of Digital Citizenship.

Here’s your opportunity to get in the act and make a 60 second public service announcement video to shine a light on appropriate Internet use. Everything you need to know about entering this contest can be found by clicking on the links below.

Don’t wait too long to decide about participating because the deadline for submissions is midnight, April 20, 2012.  Simply grab a video camera or a cell phone and a few friends and make a video!
