Digital citizenship can be defined as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to information and technology use, including:
- the ability to communicate and collaborate
productively in our global society; - techniques to locate, evaluate, and effectively use
information; and - the safe, legal, and ethical use of information and
digital content.
