Deloitte’s Courageous Principals programs are leadership development programs focused on honing relationship-building, communication, change management, and influencing skills of school leaders. Through these carefully constructed 2.5 day programs, school leaders will refine the skills necessary to foster positive interactions and lead change – with the goal of enhancing school leader effectiveness and, ultimately, student achievement.

Courageous Principals 1
The Courageous Principals 1 (CP 1) curriculum focuses on enhancing critical communication, engagement, and relationship building skills of school leaders. Participants leave the training with tools to execute action plans built during the program, skills and resources needed to enable sustainable change, and the COURAGE to be BOLD leaders.
Courageous Principals 2
The Courageous Principals 2 (CP 2) program is open to alumni of the original Courageous Principals curriculum described above CP 1. This program helps school leaders understand the importance of inspiring followership, enhance their ability to shape a desired school culture, deepen skills in change leadership, and build resilience in support of sustainable change and ongoing cultural evolutions.
Effective June 2020, The participant fee for the CP1 is $625 and CP2 is $700. (subject to change).
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) will pay the participant fee for individuals who lead Title I schools identified as Comprehensive Support and Improvement, Targeted Support and Improvement and Additional Targeted Support and Improvement for the 2019-2020 school year.
All other participants will be invoiced directly by Region 10 Education Service Center.
