Instructional Coach Development

Overview

A growing body of contemporary research shows that skilled and supported instructional coaches can have profound impacts on schools. Region 10 strives to equip and enable this hybrid role with immersive experiences, real-world insight, and research-supported strategies.

The Instructional Coaching Development Program site hosts content, resources, and learning opportunities specifically curated to foster the growth of high caliber professionals within the Instructional Coaching community. Together we serve our most important clients: children who are destined to shape a brighter future for us all.

Our First Coaches Café was a success.  Thank you Allen ISD, A+ Charter, and Richardson ISD for hosting tables.

Our next Instructional Coaches Café is February 11, 2021, 9:00-12:00 A.M. This session is designed to give you time to collaborate with other instructional and digital coaches in Region 10.  You will hear what is going well in other districts, have time to ask questions, and collaborate with others who are doing the work.

ESF and Accountability for Instructional Coaches February 11, 2021, 1:00-4:00 P.M.

Instructional Coaches need to be current with state information. ESF, Effective School Framework, is a school improvement process.  It is not limited to failing schools, as it goods for all.  Aggressive monitoring and Exemplar PLCs will be explored and practiced. A-F Accountability will be reviewed and applied.
