Course Overview

Purpose

In this mini-course, we will outline the definitions and requirements for Family and Community Engagement, also known as Parent Involvement.

Objectives

During this course, we will: 

• define Title I, Part A Parent Involvement;
• identify LEA and campus responsibilities for involving parents, families and the community; and
• discuss resources available to carry out the activities.

Outcomes

After completing this module, you will be able to effectively implement the requirements for Title I, Part A Family and Community Engagement activities.
