Disengage to Re-engage: Screen Time and the Brain

Participants in this session will gain information on the effects of screen time on brains of children and adolescents as they are growing and developing.  Screen time has become anenormous issue with its addictive qualities and brain development.  Screen time causes many problems for the developing brain that includes issues with behavior, social-emothional, cognition, communication, and drug-like addiction.  This presentation will be an open forum style with the opportunity for inquiry and discussion by participants.

FEE:  There is no fee for this session for participants associated with Region 10.  However, if you work and reside outside of the Region 10 boundaries or if you work for a private school within or outside of Region 10 boundaries, there will be a fee of $125.00 per day per individual due upon registration.  Please contact Sheryl Myers at 972-348-1650 to arrange payment.  All out of region participants will remain wait-listed until arrangement have been made.
