Behavior Analysis and Intervention: Helping Students with Persistent, Consistent, and Severe Behaviors Tier 3

To truly change a person's behavior we must understand the "why" behind it.  Behavior cannot just be rewarded and punished away, we must find out why the behavior is occurring to develop interventions and programs that promotes life-long change.  This session will provide instruction on how to find the "why" of behavior using data collection, background information of human behavior (very simple instruction and visuals on the inner workings of human behavior).

This Tier 3 version will focus on the individual systems and programs in schools and districts and how to effectively develop them for students.  Disucssion on how to analyze and revise current behavior plans and interventions to provide more individual support at a Tier 3 level.
