The role of the Mentor is to support and assist the CERT candidate throughout the teaching practicum. Mentors are assigned by school administrators. Certified teachers interested in becoming a mentor should notify their campus administrator. Mentors assigned to Region 10 CERT interns are required to complete a Region 10 CERT online professional development course. Once the Mentor Information Form is received in the Region 10 CERT office, mentors are notified by email that they have been enrolled in the Moodle online modules.
