The Special Education Administrative Support Team provides technical assistance and professional development for local district and charter school Special Education Administrators. Team members serve as the first point of contact for districts and charter schools seeking information or support related to the IDEA-B federal application process and other areas of state and federal funding.  

 

The team members also provide ongoing professional development and technical assistance in areas such as:

  • Special Education Rules and Regulations
  • FERPA
  • PEIMS/SPP submissions
  • Legal Framework
  • Budget and Finance
  • Assessment, Operations and Programs
  • Data, Monitoring and Compliance
  • Personnel/Staffing
  • School Health and Related Services (SHARS)
