Course Overview

Purpose

In this mini-course, we will outline LEA and charter school responsibilities for meeting the requirements of Title I, Part A Comparability of Services.

Objectives

During this course, we will: 

• define Comparability of Services;
• identify when an LEA or charter school is responsible for submitting information to the Texas Education Agency;
• clarify what needs to be completed and submitted to the Texas Education Agency; and
• discuss resources available to carry out the responsibilities.

Outcomes

After completing this training, you will be able to effectively implement the Comparability of Services requirements outlined in federal statute.
