This course will provide the Texas School Bus Driver Recertification 8-hour state-mandated training required for all school bus drivers every three years. The purpose of this training is to reduce the injury/death of school age students while being transported to and from school and on school sponsored trips. Since you have chosen to take this course online, you are able to log-in and learn the material at your convenience. This course will be facilitated by certified Texas School Bus Driver Certification Trainers.

Important: You will have fourteen (14) calendar days to complete this course, including the final exam.  Once payment has been processed, or a PO provided, you will receive your confirmation email that the course is open.  This confirmation email will include the Access Code for the class.

There are 40 questions, within the course itself, that must be graded by a Region 10 instructor before you will have access to the Final Exam.  Please do not wait until the last day to submit your answers.  Depending on class size, it could take the instructor several days to grade the entire class.  Once the course work has been graded, you will receive another e-mail stating you can schedule your exam with your proctor.  Your proctor will receive the link and access code to the final exam.  Be prepared to supply your own laptop to take the final exam if one is not available through your proctor.

The final exam must be taken with a pre-approved Region 10 ESC proctor in order for your Re-Certification to be valid.

This proctor must have been pre-approved prior to your registration in the online class.
