Candidacy
Candidates (individuals accepted into the program) complete the following requirements:
- Welcome to Teacher Certification with Region 10 (Orientation) - An online introduction that explains the certification process, program requirements, and course descriptions.
- Field-Based Experience (FBE) - Candidates must complete 30 hours of field-based experience through classroom observations and interaction.
- Coursework and Test Preparation - Online and face-to-face courses provide foundational information, methodology and best teaching practices. Reviews and practice test are provided for the TExES Content test, TExES Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities EC-12 and the English as a Second Language Supplemental (if required).
