School Nursing & Health Services Program
Empowering Health Professionals. Supporting Student Wellness.
The School Nursing & Health Services Program at Region 10 ESC provides districts and private schools access to expert guidance, targeted professional development, and a growing support network. Our goal is to enhance the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of school health services while equipping nursing and health staff with the tools they need to thrive.
Program Highlights
Connecting School Nurses (CSN) – A safe platform to learn from your peers, discuss relevant information, and find solutions to difficult or challenging areas of practice.
Nursing & Health Leadership (NHL) – Support for health services administrators and nurse leaders by equipping your “Toolbox” to effectively lead nursing and health staff.
School Nurse Orientation (SNO) – Foundational guidance for school nurses new to the education setting.
Athletic Trainer Support – Dedicated resources and collaboration opportunities for school-based sports medicine professionals.
Partners in Practice: New Region 10 Mentoring Program is designed to support school nurses and unlicensed health staff through meaningful, professional mentoring relationships.

Participate in annual events like the Summer Showcase for training, networking, and encouragement.

Skill-Based Training Partnerships
Collaborate with Parker’s Room and area hospitals to strengthen clinical skills for managing specific student health needs.
