There is nothing we love more than collaborative learning, and it has been such a great week for it! We have been spending time with Special Education liasons from the other Texas ESCs as we build capacity to help our schools and districts! 🤝

Region 10 was buzzing with joy and sweet baby giggles during today’s Babies Day Out! Families of infants with visual impairments joined us at the service center for a day filled with learning, laughter, and love. While parents explored resources and support services, their little ones enjoyed a variety of engaging activities from sensory play to story time and creative art stations! Thank you to all the families who joined us!

We had a great time during today's Youth Conference for students! In partnership with the Partners Resource Network, this conference offered the opportunity for students with disabilities to learn about resources and tools to use in their post-secondary lives! Thank you to everyone who made today such a great experience!!

A full house of passionate leaders gathered this morning at Region 10 for powerful roundtable discussions centered on the topics that matter most to their campuses and districts. And a special bonus! We had some very good guests join us—service dogs! Their presence was a heartwarming reminder of the many ways support and inclusion show up in education. These leadership meetings happen four times a year—and attending all of them ensures you stay informed, connected, and empowered to lead with confidence. We can’t wait to continue the conversation!

We are SO proud of our 2024–2025 SEALI cohort graduates! These future leaders are trained to advocate for students with disabilities, ensure compliance, and champion success in the least restrictive environments. This was Year 2 of the program, and we’re already excited for what’s ahead with the 2025–2026 cohort! Interested in applying? Reach out to your Special Education Director for a nomination.
